Released in 1996 on Stonehenge rds, this is the last EP for this band from Mantes-La-Jolie, France, in the Paris region. UNDONE was an excellent hardcore/emo/screamo band, very intense and gripping.

SHIT HAPPENS / PITFALL : split - 7"

 

A split EP from 1996 with these pioneers of French hardcore. SHIT HAPPENS were from Lion and played good oldschool hardcore with a NYHC touch. Later they will form SEEKERS OF THE TRUTH. PITFALL were from Strasbourg. Their hardcore was a bit more punk at times, and always energetic.

This band didn't release much, this EP and two demos. They were from Bordeaux, France. WEEP played French screamo, very screamed and melancholic. It was released in 1996.

YAGE / THE ROBOCOP KRAUS : split - 7"

 

Two German bands, two different sides of emo. We find YAGE, and their intense and touching screamo. On the other side, THE ROBOCOP KRAUS, emo, but with a strong retro rock'n'roll touch and a bit of post-punk. This split EP was released in 2001 and the artwork is great.

Fifth EP (and last?) for this very good band from Germany. YAGE played very good quality hardcore screamo, very intense and gripping. This record was released in 2002.

FAULTER : Pete Bisso / Ghetto - 7"

 

A EP released in 1998 on a label from Japan (Denied A Custom rds) for this band from New York, USA. It played a furious mix of powerviolence, with some grind parts and others more intense. On Discogs you can see that there is an album released in 2006, but I wonder if it's really the same band, because the music is more like emopop!

TWIST : Coming Closer To Abyss - CD

First album (maxi) for this band from St Etienne, in France, after a demo. This band played a mix of intense post-hc and heavy abrasive noise. It was released in 2000. Afterwards the band opted for a darker and metal sound.

This group was from Mexico, and this CD was released in 2006. It's a blast! 17 tracks of fast and heavy grindcore, with a DOOM cover.

A split EP released in 1996 for these two bands from New jersey, USA. their style is quite similar. Very groovy newschool hardcore, with a dose of hip-hop in the vocals, especially for E TOWN CONCRETE. It was released by Back Ta Basic rds.

MINOTAUR : Nothing More To Admire - 7"

I believe that this is the only realization, except compilation, for this group from Belgium. Close to the H8000 Crew, MINOTAUR played ultra hardcore metal, with a heavy deathcore tendency.
