BLIND TO SEE was an sXe band from Indonesia, and they played old-school hardcore, very much in the spirit of youthXcrew, fast and positive. This cassette dates from 2001. It also includes a few live tracks.

After a demo, this band from Sweden released this EP (a split 7" with HARDA TIDER followed) in 2008. A few tracks from the demo are included. Pure oldschool youthcrew XXX in-your-face hardcore.

A few years of existence for this group from the USA, Kentucky. The first demo, on K7, was released in 1999. Pure oldschool sXe hardcore, with covers of GORILLA BISCUIT and YOUTH OF TODAY. Gives you an idea of the style, doesn't it.

Unique album (or rather mini album) for this band from Sweden. Released in 1998, the band played a brilliant oldschool xxx hardcore, ultra-vitaminized youthcrew style.

First album for this American band, from Connecticut, released in 2007. We find good oldschool hardcore sXe/youthcrew, very energetic and positive as it should be. Great!

First demo for this USA band, from Brooklyn, NY. The sound is little raw (tape from 1996, and the rip is not from me), but it's furious oldschool hardcore. Best period for my opinion

RANCOR: Flip The Switch / Never Hold Back - EP

Fin des années 90's, le revival youthXcrew bat son plein, avec entre autres des groupes comme TEN YARD FIGHT, BETTER THAN A THOUSAND, FLOORPUNCH, ATARI, HALFMAST... RANCOR est aussi de la partie. Ils étaient de Pennsylvanie. Une K7 à leur actif, et ces deux vinyles 7", sorti respectivement en 1997 et 1998. Des torpilles oldschool hardcore sXe bien énergiques et posi, qui donne le smile et la fritte. Attention, à la même époque, il y avait un groupe Hollandais du même nom, dans un style newschool HC.

HOLD TRUE: nothing can destroy me, nothing can stop me - CD

Super CD que j'écoute encore régulièrement. Déjà j'aime bien la pochette avec son ninja. Et puis la musique de ce mini CD est juste excellente. Hardcore oldschool bien youthXcrew dans l’âme, mais avec une approche 100% passion, qui rendent les morceaux très enthousiastes. Gros boulot pour les chorus de guitares et les chœurs. C'était un groupe de Hongrie, qui ont sorti d'autres disques. Peut-être que je les posterais une prochaine fois. Par la suite, les gars ont formés MOTIVATION, puis CRIPPLED FOX.

FUERZA DE VOLUNTAD: demo - K7

A sXe band from Chile, who have already released quite a lot of stuff. This K7 is their first demo, released in 1998. The sound is a bit rootsy, but there's some good oldschool hardcore here.

FEUD: no surrender to the enemy - K7

Groupe des Philippines, dont cette K7 doit dater du débuts des années 2000. Par la suite, il y a du y avoir un MCD, un album, et aussi la participation au split CD avec PLAY et HALF THE BATTLE. D'ailleurs certains membres de FEUD ont rejoint HTB. C'est du hardcore sXe oldschool au son un peu brut, mais bien posi dans l'âme. Textes plus politisés que la moyenne youthXcrew.

Voilà une demo qui me plait! Total youthcrew hardcore, pleins de patate et d'énergie, hargneux et posi. Ils sont de Nantes. Des groupes du genre, y'en a pas eu des tonnes en Frances! Du bon oldschhol HC percutant, façon YOUTH OF TODAY ou TRUE COLORS. Juste mortel quoi!!

21 ENEMY: demo 2001 et 2003 - CDR

Voilà un groupe de Bordeaux, qui porta fièrement l'étiquette sXe youthcrew en France, quelques années. Le hardcore oldschool était très proche des MAINSTRIKE, SPORTWEAR, et les débuts de VITAMIN X. La seconde demo est plus speed et direct. Pour l’anecdote, ma première interview pour Mononoke zine, et bien je l'ai réalisé pour ce groupe. Matt, le chanteur fait pas mal de graphisme pour divers groupes.

Première demo (2004) pour ce groupe de Séoul, Corée du Sud. Il y a des gars de THE GEEKS dedans, et peut etre de THE PATIENCE? En tout cas, cette demo contient 4 titres de oldschool hardcore bien positif et générique comme il faut! Total youthXcrew ala GORILLA BISCUIT, ATARI. Un album est sorti.
