Split EP released in 1996, on the Parisian label Dibolik rds. On one side, the famous SATANIC SURFERS from Sweden, with 2 (live) tracks of their fast melodic hardcore / skatecore. The other side features SEVEN HATE from Poitiers, France. Here too, 2 (studio) tracks of melodic hardcore, including a cover of DAG NASTY.

Even in France, there were a lot of small melodic hardcore / skatecore bands in the mid-90s. These two were from the suburbs of Paris and played good music for skateboarding. It came out in 1995.

KENEDA : whatever you can say - CD

 

I discovered this band from Orleans (France) on the "Opposite Run" compilation. They played melodic hardcore, perfect for skateboarding. They released a demo "Greenpower" in 1996, which I would like to listen to again. Here it is their first album, released in 1997. Their melodic hardcore is more mature, and ventures towards emo and noisy influences, close to SEVEN HATE sometimes. Another album will follow in 1998

Split EP released in 2004 on the Belgian label Still Holding On rds. There is a band from the USA and one from Canada, each in their own way, they play fast and old fashioned thrashcore, to skate wildly

This is the 3th (?) demo tape for this band from Tours (France), making in 1998. They was playing cool melodic punk hardcore, like LAG WAGON, MILLENCOLIN, NO USE FOR A NAME... Nice stuff, and very happy to listen again and share.

SO CALLED UNLIKE : toys are not us - K7

Another french band from the 90's, 1996 to be exact. They was from the East area, near Besançon I think. On this demo, you can listen some cool melodic hardcore, maybe like SEVEN HATE or French bands you can fin on the compilation "Opposite Run". After this, some members make SECOND RATE. Thank's again to Laurent for the rip!
