A split released in 2001, with two rather emo hardcore bands. STNDILL was from Spain, while ENGRAVE was from Germany. The latter sound a bit more screamo.

SOAR / GRIEVANCE : split - 7"

 

Split EP released in 2000 on Stonehenge rds, gathering SOAR from France and GRIEVANCE from Italy. Both bands played a mix of intense hardcore metal, with grind, screamo, chaotic, heavy or fast parts. Let's call it emoviolence.

BLAME LUKE : s/t - 7"

 

Unique EP for this band from Sweden, released early 2000 I think. Among the members is the singer of OUTLAST. 11 tracks of very fast and nervous hardcore, between oldschool and fastcore. A good slap!

SABETH : zwei - 7"

 

Released in 1998, this is the second EP for this German band. They were part of this wave of intense bands, which mixed hardcore, screamo, metal or grind, as we will find many of them on the Per Koro rds label. SABETH had a pretty heavy approach. An album will follow in 1999.

DEAD IN THE WATER - s/t - 7"

 

First EP for this band from Finland, who played a very heavy hardcore crust style, sometimes at the borders of sludge and doom. They released a few records afterwards. Some members also played in the hardcore punk band SHARPEVILLE before.

A band not very well known but which released a unique and cool album in 1999. They were from Missouri (USA) and played a hardcore metal style, with sometimes melodic, rock or emo touches, giving a very energetic and strong music.

 Released in 2000, this split EP will delight fans of dark, heavy and creepy music. On one side the Japanese sludge masters CORRUPTED, and on the other side the Spanish grindcore band MACHETAZO.

Split EP released in 2004 on the Belgian label Still Holding On rds. There is a band from the USA and one from Canada, each in their own way, they play fast and old fashioned thrashcore, to skate wildly

Band from Germany was playing intense hardcore, with some chaotic and rockin part. First MCD out in 1998.
