A record released in 2005, with on one side THE TANGLED LINES (from Germany) and on the other side DICK CHENEY (Sweden). Both bands play in their own way fast and wild hardcore, with a female vocal on the German side. The Swedes have a more aggressive style.

No need to introduce these two bands from the 90's hardcore newschool scene. On one side the Floridians of MORNING AGAIN and their hardcore metal passion, and on the other side the New Yorkers of 25 TA LIFE and their NYHC perfect for the pit. One track each, on this split released in 1998 on Good Life rds.

Split EP released in 1997 on the Conspiracy label. The two bands have similarities. Post-hardcore with more or less noisy, metal, even crust touches. UPSET was from Germany, while RUBBISH HEAP was from Belgium.

LEGITIME DEFONCE / CRANK : split - 7"

 

A small split released in 1998 on Diabolik rds. LEGITIME DEFONCE was from Toulouse, France, and played a very melodic and catchy punk. CRANK was from Sydney, Australia, quite similar, a bit more melodic hardcore. Both bands have released several EPs and albums.

A very short career for this band from Sweden, having released this EP and two other splits. This one is from 2000. We find a furious mixture of wild fastcore, and grind accelerations. A bit like a powerviolence version of DS13. Perfect!

A band from Vienna, Austria, having released this single EP and a demo. It dates from 1999. The band played quite emotional and melodic hardcore metal, close to bands like SHAI HULUD for example.

Two bands from France for this split EP made in 2001. On one side SYLVESTER STALINE, which throws sarcastic grind/powerviolence. On the other side INSIDE CONFLICT, which mixes grindcore and hardcore metal. It is released by Bones Brigade rds

Another record from the German emopop wave, in the late 90's. This split was released in 1999. MAGGAT on one side, very nice and catchy emo, on the other side 125 RUE MONTMARTRE, much more pop and calm emo.

HOODS : once again - 7"

 

First release (1996) for this band from Sacramento, California. The band has a very extensive discography, with many albums. HOODS is good frontal hardcore, very NYHC without sounding too metal either.
