info: another tape that had a long way to its release. i first talked to steve from i shit robots about it shortly after with the eyes of conrad veidt recorded their first material. to that time i shit robots (known as i shit rainbows) had also their first recordings up. after some line up changes finaly this split will be released. with the eyes of conrad veidt start the split on side a with their intense drumcomputer driven techgrind. dissonant riffs and high and deep vocals with a lot of blast beats. these recordings are older than their material from the self titled heartshaped cdr that we released. 5 songs from them. on the b side i shit robots will release their experimentel goregrind / cybergrind. intelligent drum programming plus good guitarwork and killer vocals. good songs. 7 songs from them. amazing artwork by[c]aptain terror.

Je commence donc une série de rip K7 consacré au label Allemand Yehonala Tapes rds. Y'a pas tout, très loin de là, juste quelques K7 que j'avais. Le label est très porté sur le chaotic hc, screamo, grindcore taré, mathcore intense... souvent des groupes Allemands. Le label accorde un soin très particulier à la présentation, avec des illustrations très arty digne de tableau! Je commence avec cette K7 4 titres de TIME HAS COME, dans un registre grind technique hardcore chaos de matheux!

V/A: masters of brutality vol 2 - K7

Second volume sorti la même année, 1992, toujours chez Fnac! Et ouais! Le principe est le même, une compilation de death-metal international, avec cette fois plus de nombreux seconds couteaux, et une ouverture sur des sonorités plus large, comme le doom/death. Moins marquante que la première, mais de grosse tueries comme BRUTAL TRUTH, CATHEDRAL, DISMEMBER, NAPALM, PARADISE LOST, NOCTURNUS ou  DEICIDE. L'artwork est toujours signé D Grrr, mais pas de livret explicatif cette fois.

Yep, super K7 acheter en 1992. Grosse excitation pour le jeune hardos que j'étais. Car c'était la première fois que j’allais écouter du death-metal! Jusqu'alors je me contentais des chroniques lus dans Hard-Rock magazine ou Hard Force. J'avais déjà gouter au thrash avec EXODUS, ANTHRAX et SEPULTURA. J'allais enfin accéder à la brutalité! On y trouve tous les cadors du death, ainsi que quelques petits nouveaux. Des références comme DEATH, MORBID ANGEL, OBITUARY ou NAPALM DEATH. Mais aussi LOUDBLAST, MASTER, CARCASS, ENTOMBED... Voyez le tracklist plus bas. Les morceaux de DISMEMBER, MORGOTH, CANNIBAL CORPSE ou GRAVE m'ont bien marqués. Je me revois encore en train de lire et relire le petit livret avec les bios et infos des groupes. Notez le super artwork de Denis Grrr. Bref, super souvenir que je partage avec plaisir!

Premier MCD pour ce groupe de Corée du Sud, sorti il y a peu. Bah, du hardcore (oldschool?) très moderne, alliant puissance et mélodie, mosh part, voix criarde et choeurs omniprésent. Pour fans de VERSE, FC FIVE, WITH HONOR...

REQUIEM: catharsis - CD

Ce groupe de rap est une bonne surprise. C'est le chanteur de KEN PARK qui est au mic! Ca balance du hip-hop sombre, parfois glauque, puant la misère sociale prolétarienne. Son flow guttural est mortel! Dommage qu'il n'est rien sorti d'autre...

DROWNING: s/t - CD

Je crois que c'est le premier CD pour ce groupe Parisien, sorti en 1999. Ils ont fait partis des piliers du hardcore newschool cé-fran. Ce skeud est vraiment très metal et sombre. Riff bien lourd et plombé, aussi bien influencé par SLAYER que le son death-metal. Du deathcore quoi! Mais rien à  voir avec la merde metalcore/screamo actuelle. Là, c'est du costaud, façon ALL OUT WAR ou ONE LAST SIN. Par la suite, ils ont du virer purement death-metal je crois.
