This band from St Etienne (France) was partly composed of members of UNEVEN (oldschool HC) and this mini-album was released in 2001. Musically it is calmer, between melodic hardcore and melancholic emocore.

An EP from 1995 for this band from New Jersey, USA. They released another EP (also on Back Ta Basic rds) and a demo before. The band played a very direct and hard oldschool kind of hardcore, with obvious early NYHC influences.

A small record released in 1998, on Daredevil rds. Both bands were from France, and played newschool hardcore. DEVICE was from Rouen and punctuated his hardcore part more intense. HARDSIDE from Paris, played much more brutal and heavy hardcore.

Nice rock'n'roll cover for this split released in 2008. On one side we find AUKTION, a band from Sweden that plays a very fast and wild kind of hardcore, with an r'n'r touch. On the other side, BLACK PANDA, from Spain, who also adds some r'n'r to their crustpunk.

Only EP released in 1998 for this band from Germany, whose members also played in LOXIRAN or ENFOLD. It plays on the same intensity. A kind of screamed hardcore, sometimes very fast, sometimes more tortured. It sounds less metal than other bands of the same wave.

This is a band from Belgium that I listened to a lot. Their demo was a good kill, and this first CD (released in 1998) is a real head turner. Very metal and aggressive hardcore, close to the sound of H8000 Crew but with a little something extra. Then the band evolved towards an even more metal style.
