A band from Russia, with this one album released in 2008. Difficult to classify, a post-hardcore style, sometimes screamo, mathcore, noisy, and experimental. It's unusual but quite intense and sometime groovy too!

A band from Japan. MY LOVE played hardcore music somewhere between old school and modern, like many HC bands from there, with energy and passion. This EP dates back to 2006. I don't know if they released anything else.

BLIND TO SEE was an sXe band from Indonesia, and they played old-school hardcore, very much in the spirit of youthXcrew, fast and positive. This cassette dates from 2001. It also includes a few live tracks.

PUNY RUNT was a young band from Nevers, France. They managed to release this short EP in 2008. They played modern old-school hardcore, focused above all on melody and passion. For fans of FIRE A WILL, STRIKE ANYWHERE, STAY GOLD....

CANOPUS : endless sacrifice - CD

CANOPUS was a Japanese band with a fairly short career. This EP is their last, released in 2009. I don't know if they were sXe, but their very metal hardcore style was heavily inspired by the metalXedge scene and the H8000 sound.

APATIA NO : El Ruido De Antes...Los Opresores De Siempre - CD

APATIA NO remains one of my favorite bands. They were from Venezuela. They released a lot of 7" singles and split albums, but only one full-length album, released in 2003. Their music was a very angry kind of anarcho-punk, sometimes with a fast hardcore rhythm and also a bit of crust. The lyrics are very political.

GET LOST : unity is fucking dead - CD

After a 2005 demo, GET LOST, an sXe band from Paris, France, released this maxi CD in 2007, co-produced with various labels, including Kawaii rds. The band played old-school hardcore, very direct, sometimes similar to FLOORPUNCH.

BLOODPACT / REACHING FORWARD : split - 7"

 A split EP released in 2000, featuring old-school sXe hardcore. The American band BLOODPACT plays very fast, somewhat fastcore music. On the Dutch side, REACHING FORWARD's style is more nervous and aggressive.

SAPO / EXISTENCE : split - 7"

 

Two bands from the French DIY hardcore scene of the late 1990s. On one side, SAPO, from Besançon, who played a style of hardcore that was somewhat inspired by emocore at times, and on the other, EXISTENCE, also from Besançon, with a more direct and darker style. Released in 1997.

ANTI CORPOS : contra ataque - 7"

 

Female band from Brazil, with this debut EP released in 2014. It features 6 tracks of politically committed hardcore/punk/fastcore. I don't know if the band still exists.
